How to import a car from Germany to Poland

A successful import starts before the vehicle is collected. Confirm the seller, check the car and its documents, then arrange suitable transport to Poland.

Confirm the purchase

Verify the seller’s details, the payment recipient, the VIN and the contents of the sale documents. Do not arrange collection on the basis of a screenshot of an advert alone.

Choose an appropriate transport method

Consider whether the car is registered and roadworthy. For a vehicle on a transporter, send the exact collection and delivery addresses, its weight and any loading difficulties.

Arrange release with the seller

A dealership, auction yard or storage facility may ask for a pickup reference, power of attorney or appointment. Agree who hands over the keys and originals.

Prepare for arrival in Poland

Keep the invoice or sales agreement and German vehicle papers together. Registration and tax steps depend on the vehicle and current Polish rules.

How to arrange transport

Tell us where the vehicle is and where it needs to go. We will check the route, available carrier capacity and provide a tailored quote.

  1. Send both locations: Provide the collection postcode in Germany and delivery postcode in Poland.
  2. Describe the vehicle: Specify make, model, weight and whether it starts, steers and rolls.
  3. Arrange vehicle release: Confirm the seller’s phone number, opening hours, keys and any collection reference.
  4. Confirm the booking: After you accept the quote, we arrange the collection and delivery details.

Need a transport quote?

Send the two postcodes, car model, weight, whether it rolls and starts, and your preferred date. We will prepare a specific quotation.

We confirm the collection and delivery window before accepting the order. Timing depends on the seller’s availability, the carrier’s schedule and the addresses involved.
